Resources for Faculty

The Office of Fellowships is located on the 2nd floor of Hopkins Hall. Please call on us with any questions regarding letters of recommendation and guidance to applicants.

Letters of recommendation are an important element of all fellowships applications. Our office processes hundreds of recommendation letters every year. Letters are read by selection committee members and mock interviewers. We will never share your letters with students. Most letters are submitted online, but the process may vary depending on the funding organization. Some require letters to be uploaded by recommenders, others ask that all documents be handled by the Fellowships Advisor. You may be asked to send your letter to our office by email, then follow the funding organization’s instructions once your student receives a campus nomination. Your student will provide you with all the relevant information.
