May 4, 2022

It’s time for rising seniors and alumni to consider opportunities for academic year 2023-24.  Below is information about the application process for many national fellowships.

The Schwarzman Scholars Program supports a year in China. Application is now open.  Current seniors and alumni up to age 29 are eligible.  https://www.schwarzmanscholars.org/  Your application is due September 20.  Campus endorsement is not required.

The Knight-Hennessy Scholarship supports a graduate degree at Stanford, and the applications will open August 1.  If you missed the information session at Williams, you can attend an online session by registering through the website.  The Knight-Hennessy supports your graduate study in any field at Stanford University.  Graduating seniors and alumni are eligible, campus endorsement is not required.

The Watson Fellowship supports one year of purposeful and independent exploration for one year after your Williams graduation.  Plan to participate in their webinar Thursday, May 12, at 3pm to find out more.  Register here.  Williams can nominate four seniors, and the application system will open later this month.  Our campus due date will be mid-September.  All seniors, all majors, are eligible.

If you missed the in-person session in Hopkins Hall about the U.S. Student Fulbright program, you can attend an online info session.  When you open an online application, be sure to select WILLIAMS as your institution.  You can apply for an English Teaching Assistantship or a Study / Research Grant.  Graduating seniors and alumni are eligible and your application is due in mid-September.

If you are interested in the MarshallChurchill, or Rhodes Scholarship, watch the info sessions held last spring with foundation representatives and alumni scholars, including Williams alumni.  You can find these video info sessions from Spring 2021 in the Fellowships Office GLOW page.

Please review the Fellowships Office website for these and other opportunities and contact us if you have questions about applying!
